looking for a replacement quarter window upper pivot nylon bushing for 69-70 a sports roof car, mine are worn causing the quarter window to be loose at the top pviot point, checked with the vendors and only see the complete window frames availible,

I think i found a fix , went to the hardware store and found a small bronze bushing that worked in place of the worn out nylon one. cant be seen after its installed.
-
Post a picture of what you found and what it looks like installed ? Thanks, Brian
Just as I posted the above it occurred to me the bushing goes into the window frame ?

I think i found a fix , went to the hardware store and found a small brass bushing that worked in place of the worn out nylon one. cant be seen after its installed.
Just for future reference: what store; what type of bushing; used for; made by; part or stock number. If you re-invent the wheel, tell us how.

I installed the glass with the bronze bushing and it worked ,i will take it back out for a picture and give more details ,in short its a smaller version of a door hinge bronze bushing,

Not that it will help, but they do have a part number, C9ZZ 6329848-A. The black square next to the part number in the illustration is linked to a note that reads "supplied only in assembly - group 29706". The assemby being the entire quarter window. Note the contradiction - illustration says not available separately, yet it has its own service part number. Seems like they created a number for it later on and didn't update the note in the illustration.

The bushing is called a bronze flange bearing from value hardware ,1/4 inch i.d. 3/8 inch o.d. 1/2 inch long, i removed the worn nylon bushing and hand filed to fit the o.d. of the new bushing to fit the hole in the window frame then used a little two part epoxy, two secure the bushing in the window frame so it wouldnt turn in the frame, i will try to post a picture,
