For a 67 SJ late may build 390 ps car was there a transition date from the thick ribbed shortie ps lines to the fine ribbed ones? A early/late thing? Thanks Lu

Lu ,from my observation the change happened in early 68 production. It was a early late thing for 68 production and not 67.

So Mansfield's are NOT anything better than the typical early service replacements for use on a 67 Mustang, regardless the engine size?
Mansfields's will work as correct for later 68's up to about what cut-off date?

Those hoses are not typical at all. They appear to be the superior made blue dot repros. You can not buy a better appearing reproduction for the application. They are most like the later 68-70 Shelby, 67-69 Mustang assemblyline versions with the fine line ribs. the 67 and early 68 had 3 thick ribs. The service replacements went through a couple of evolved changes and do not look like assembly line. I think Ed Meyer has some of the early thick rib ones he had made up on a ebay auction right now.
