1970 calif gt500 vapor line routing

hoping jeff or some one in the know would post a couple of pics of the underside routing of the vapor line that runs from  driver's side trunk floor forward to eng bay.  have my npd repo line but has so many bends i can't make head or tails how it goes-  installed all necessary components in lh trunk well plus correct fuel tank .  for a 70 gt500 originally sent to los angeles area  thanks

I had this same problem when I did my 70 GT-500 - sold new in San Diego. As I recall it's sold as a 1 piece tube like the factory would use. My car had this line cut into 2 pieces at the firewall. I think whoever did this change did so without removing the drive train and did whatever it took to get the plumbing installed. Got an e-mail address?

Can't be of much help - haven't found an original untouched  70 Evap Shelby to put up on the rack and take a bunch of pictures yet

Not sure if they used a system the same as the Mustang - which would require two lines - divided at the passenger rear frame rail for the valve or something else

Can offer currently only the front start of the solid line  - attaches to the top of the charcoal canister goes back to the firewall then down the driveline tunnel to the back of the car






And a picture of the line following the rear frame rail (wheel side) at the drivers side rear to the flex line and into the trunk area




Checked and tried. - SAAC site might turn up and owner or two that might provide some additional pictures
