Real or Repo?> - K code Exh Manifolds
« on: May 10, 2013, 05:07:08 PM »
Helping another who's attempting to identify a pair of exhaust manifolds. I'm guessing that they are only being cast with a single date code but have no references to help him out so I'm asking the community if any of you can help. Anyone have a set of repos or pictures of them for comparison? Thanks

Looks just like the real ones I have.  A couple pics attached.

Looks like the date code was inserted upside down in the mold on my 2nd one, which I thought was interesting.

'65 K code Fastback, 4sp, San Jose, 10/9/64
'66 C code Coupe, C4, Dearborn, 5/24/66
'67 Fairlane Convertible, 3sp, 200 I6

I've seen several variations of date codes on Hipo manifolds. These appear to be 125th and 188th day of 1966? Did 1965 castings include a year or only the Julian calendar day?
